Summary:
A fatal road accident at Ijebu Ode–Ore Expressway were a fully loaded bus fell off the bridge into the river.
A ghastly motor accident occurred along Ijebu Ode – Ore Expressway, in which a fully loaded mini bus fall off the bridge and plunged into a river at Ajibandele, Ogun state, South-west Nigeria.
What caused the accident was unclear as there was pandemonium as locals we seen rushing to save the lives of the passengers.
The federal government has since last year award contract, to reconstructs this expressway. In order for road users in Nigeria to have a save and easy road to travel.
‘What happened was strategic … but thank god no life is lost’ a local said in condition of privacy.
However, it is believed that no life was lost to the accident, but passengers suffered deferent degrees of injuries.
