A source said that the girl was a JS3 student who has finished writing her 'junior WEAC'.
Southern City News report that the girl until her death live with her parent and attended Isieke Community Secondary School.
Confirming the Incidence, PPRO Ezekiel Onyeke said that police had declared the three suspected rapist wanted.
The Police Public Relation Officer, PPRO Oyeke, while narrating the story to Southern City, Said the victim has gone to visit her sister in her husband house, in another village when the tragedy happened.
When the evening approached she decide to return home before it was too late to receive her parent which had traveled.
While trekking back home, she was accosted by three boys who dragged her into the bush and gang-raped her there.
The victim cried back home and informed her sister of her misfortune who later told her husband.
Irked by the sexual assault, the man quickly dashed out to confront one of the assailant who also engage him in a fight.
The victim was later taken to the police station to officially report the matter to the police authorities.
On reaching home, she was scolded by her mother who had warned her before, not to go to her sister house alone. She further threatened that she will get pregnant without a father for her baby.
“The mother mismanaged the situation. She said to her ‘Have I not warned you not to go to Okwoyi village alone? Now three men have raped you and if you become pregnant, who will be the father of the baby?’ The police spokesman narrated.
On Tuesday morning when her family members called her for a family devotion she declined. So the rest of the family went ahead and hold the devotion without her.
The police spokesman said, when the family was holding their devotion they heard heavy shouts outside the house and the whole family members rushed out.
The family members were shocked to see the lifeless body of their daughter who they saw 20 minutes ago leaving her room.
She was dangling on a tree in front of their house. She had committed suicide!
