The affected roads are Uruan Street and Itu Road.

The roads are be name after the patriarchs of Quo Iboe Church, Udom’s local church. The patriarchs are, late Irish founder Reverend Samuel Bill and human right activist Mary Slessor.

The affected road is Uruan Street, the newly commissioned road by the former administration and the monumental Itu road.

Therefore, Uruan Street is renamed Samuel Bill Road and Itu Road is rename Mary Slessor Road. “This is to serve as an epitaph for the selfless sacrifices they had made in the country.” Said the governor.

On whether the new name will bring the needed dividends of democracy to the state, the streets residents have this to say.
